From Incarceration to Inspiration
​Silus Valson's Journey of Transformation
Silus Valson is a formerly incarcerated individual raised in the streets of Los Angeles, California, who went to prison and has dedicated his life to understanding the mindset that led to his imprisonment. Through his self-examination and those of other incarcerated people with the same background, he decided to make his life purpose change the mindset of those being destroyed by similar life circumstances. With both of Silus's parents deceased by the time he was 15 years years of age, he gradually became dependent on the street culture as a means of survival which led him to 15 years of imprisonment; however, during this time, he never gave up on himself or the people in his community, and decided to put his faith in making things better for generations to come.
