The Contract, in plain terms.

Terms of Service
01
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the American Contract platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
02
The Contract
The American Contract is a civic membership platform. Your subscription constitutes a personal affirmation of the principles set forth in the founding documents of the United States. It is not a legal contract in the commercial sense; it is a covenant — a voluntary commitment to the ideals of American self-governance.
03
Membership Tiers
We offer three membership tiers: The Promise (free), The Commitment ($12/month), and The Covenant ($1,776/year). Each tier grants access to specific content and features as described on the Membership page. Tier benefits may change with 30 days written notice.
04
User Conduct
You agree to use the platform in accordance with the Speech Rules set forth in this document. You may not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, to distribute false information with intent to deceive, or to undermine the civic mission of the American Contract.
05
Intellectual Property
All content on the American Contract platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of the American Contract or its content partners and is protected by applicable copyright laws. Founding documents are in the public domain; annotations and editorial content are proprietary.
06
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.
07
Eligibility and Age
You must be at least 18 years old to sign the Contract and hold an account, and by signing you confirm that you meet this requirement. The platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The Youth Empowerment Toolkits are licensed to schools and operated under those institutions’ supervision and consent — not through individual child accounts. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
